Responsibilities: Be responsible for developing and maintaining qualified supplier network and product sources with limited supervision, providing competitive pricing or alternative solutions, managing the production process from project schedule, quality control to on-time delivery. 1.Source, develop and maintain suppliers & capability for assigned clients or product categories to meet the business needs. 2.Review the sourcing requests received and evaluate the project feasibility, verify the project information and provide timely response to RBUs. 3.Develop feasible project plan and to provide competitive costs for quotations or alternative options to meet target prices to increase project wins. 4.Responsible for negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, charges, quality and on time delivery 5.Manage suppliers to produce products that meet with the specified quality standards and account requirements 6.Understand and manage the impact of project change requests. Negotiate with suppliers and control the cost and other issues. 7.Verify factory is in compliance with client standard, product design with the safety requirements 8.Manage project timeline communicate status, and timely escalation of potential issues. 9.Identify risk to project on-time delivery, cost and quality, and develop practical contingency plan to manage the risk with the support of other functional teams and the suppliers. 10.Manage overall production process and control quality, support on the logistic arrangement for on-time delivery.
Requirements: 1.This individual must possess strong, effective negotiating skills 2.At least 10 years working experiences including 5 years solid experiences of merchandising in consumer products and a comprehensive knowledge of all supply chain related activities 3.Education – University or up 4.Deep understanding of all functional areas and the Clients / Accounts, and in-depth knowledge of the entire project flow of Creata 5.Product and production knowledge of related Accounts 6.Strong information gathering skills to drive negotiation 7.Account standards (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics 8.Project management skills, capable of multiple functional project planning, managing milestones / critical path, status update, 9.Capable to facilitate multiple functional discussions to achieve collaboration among functional areas 10.Well organized and tracking on product development, corrections and approvals to ensure efficient product development for project wins 11.Good problem solving, time management, decision-making and expense management 12.Must speak and possess written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, both Mandarin and Cantonese 13.Adaptable, well organized and detail oriented 14.High degree of accuracy 15.Good computer skills 16.Able to work with minimal supervision
